SAP CRM Transaction Launcher — Launch a SAP GUI Transaction

    3. Once the link is created then we need to define a link group where we can assign this link to that group.

Select the Define Direct Link Groups and create a new entry for the link group. Now click on the assign links and add the logical link to the group. See the following screen shots.

    4. Go to Define Profile and select your profile and click on the “Assign Direct Link Groups” sub menu and add the group id to this profile. See the following screen shot.

     5. Now go to the T-Code CRMC_UI_PROFILE and select your business role( in this example z_utl-ic ) and click on the “Visible Direct Group Link” and make the group id that you created visible for this group. Click Save to save the configuration. See the following screen shot.

Once the above configuration is completed you have the URL link in the nav bar to launch this transaction from WEB IC. See the below screen shot for one before config and the other after config.

See the following screen shot before the navbar configuration.

See the following screen shot after the navbar configuration.

  1. Hi,
I’ve also set up this transaction launcher in CRM 2007. Do you know if it’s also possible to launch through the CRM ITS a R/3 transaction? On our system, I always get an error…
    Regards,
    Fabian

  2. Thanks for this info, very helpful!! I would like to add a correction:
    http://:/sap/bc/gui/sap/it/CRM_CIC_RABOX/!?sap-client=
    should be
    http://:/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/CRM_CIC_RABOX/!?sap-client=

Check whether service CRM_CIC_RABOX has been activated (via transaction sicf).

    kind regards
    Angelique

  4. Question: what do I have to fill in for step “Further Technical Details” and “Activity Clipboard Integration” in the Transaction Launcher?
